Simple, warm and authentic hospitality, delicious home-made food, mind-blowing view and location, extraordinary guests and incredible concept. Can serve as a perfect example for the interrelation of everything around us. I will return to stay there for a month, for sure!

Plamen - 2017

“The location is incredibly beautiful. The people are extraordinarily kind. Watching them work to make everything around you by hand as they talk and joke amongst themselves is a pleasure in itself. They are inviting and treat you as family. I feel so honored to have been welcomed into their sanctuary and their community. Perhaps you’ve got to get your own hot water and the electricity is a little rickety sometimes, but all of this is part of the experience of being a part of their home and finding peace in the mountains. And little discomforts were far outweighed by the unbelievable kindness of the family, the INCREDIBLE food, and the care that is put into every single thing you experience. THANK YOU!!! I can’t wait to come back!!!”

Inanna - November 2017

A 1 hour drive from Pokhara, along a highway, then a 4 wheel drive only road on a 30 degree incline.Beautiful views of the Pokhara Valley below & we came across children on a giant swing that spanned the road. We awoke next day at 5.30am to clear skies & a magnificent view of 7000m Machhapuchhre & the 7 peaks of the Annapurna Ranges. We sit in awe & have our breakfast in the beautiful garden full of marigold. The colour of the mountains change by the minute. Clouds slowly accumulate around 8am.

We stayed here for 4 days with half day & full day treks, just a stroll at your leisure, or just chill & enjoy the tranquility of the garden & views of the Pokhara Valley & Annapurna Range, with a marsala tea or chat with staff & other guests. The meals are very good & plentiful.  Service is excellent & the staff are happy & helpful. We enjoyed of night of traditional music & dancing by the local school children. We had turns learning their dance, so we showed them the Hokey pokey. A fun night.I arrived with an upset stomach which was cured by tea with herbs from the garden. Breakfast milk from the resident cows milked that morning! Fill your bucket at the solar heated water tank & walk to your cottage for a hot shower! We thoroughly enjoyed the company of Purna, Bed, Bishnu, UB, Purna & Bed’s parents, & the rest of staff. Great people. We felt like part of the family here. Happy memories we will always treasure.

“This is nepal. My few days, my experience felt so surreal. You ask, you shall receive – a true Nepali cultural experience….in every way.
Thank you.”
